Individual Counseling

(60 minutes)

60-minute individual and family sessions are offered both in person and via telehealth. Please clearly indicate if you would like your sessions to occur in person, as a phone call, or as a video call. All clients will receive an appointment reminder 24-48 hours before their appointment confirming the appointment type and the location as the address of the office, the phone number that I will be calling from, or a zoom link for our online meeting room.

First Session

(90 minutes)

90-minute new client intake sessions are offered both in person and via telehealth. You must complete a Free 15-minute new client consult prior to scheduling your intake session. Please download and fill out the New Client Intake Packet located in the Forms section of this website before your first session. The completed packet can be emailed to me at info@SnapdragonCS.com. If you are not able to fill out the packet prior to our first session, no worries! We will fill these forms out together at the start of our intake session.

During this consult we will discuss scheduling availability, fee for service, the concerns leading you to seek out counseling services, and we will spend a little time getting to know each other so we can see if my therapeutic approach and style is a good fit for you!

Telehealth

Telehealth sessions are available via phone or video at any time for no additional cost. If you are choosing to engage in telehealth services, please ensure that you have a safe, quiet, and comfortable space to sit in while we talk. Insurance

I am able to bill OHP directly at this time. I am also able to provide a Superbill for services received that you can submit to your insurance provider independently after each session. Please specify on your Fee Agreement form if you would like a Superbill sent to you following each session.

Sliding Scale Options

If you find yourself unable to pay my standard fee for services for any reason, please inquire about my income-based, sliding-scale fee options for services. I have limited capacity to see clients that will be utilizing my sliding-scale fee options depending on the current size of my client caseload. If I am currently not able to accommodate a non-standard fee for service, I will offer the ability to be added to my new client waitlist, or I will provided outside resources and referrals for low-no cost care.

  • Gambling

    Services available for individuals and concerned others that are impacted by gambling in any way. Types of gambling activities include, but are not limited to: video poker, scratch tickets, sports betting, raffles, card games, table games, BINGO, some micro-transactions and in-app purchases, loot crates, stock market involvement, and animal races.

    Please note that I am a Certified Gambling Addictions Counselor (CGAC II) but I do not work for a state provider that receives a grant to provide free services for individuals and concerned others. Please use the button below labeled OPGR.org to access gambling treatment that is covered by the state gambling treatment grant.

  • Internet/Technology/Gaming

    Services available for individuals, couples, and families that are impacted by internet/technology/gaming concerns. These concerns can look like: excessive social media usage, spending more time on the phone than intended, gaming to the point of escape rather than entertainment, difficulties completing daily tasks due to time lost to devices, and/or concerns with maintaining focus on a single task or activity.

  • Substance Use

    Services available for individuals, couples, and families struggling with the use and/or impact of various substances. These can include, but are not limited to: alcohol, cannabis, prescription drugs, stimulants, depressants, opioids, psychadelics, and inhalants.

  • Mental Heath

    Services are available for individuals, couples, or families. You may be seeking mental health services for any of the following reasons: to better manage the severity and frequency of various mental health symptoms; to work through past or current trauma; to learn how to set boundaries and have more fulfilling relationships with others; or to spend time reconnecting with yourself and learning new skills and strategies that can help to improve your overall wellness.

    My areas of interest and expertise are treating adults and adolescents that are experiencing concerns related to Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Attention, and Shame.

  • Process Addictions

    Services are available for individuals and concerned others that are impacted by process addictions in any way. Process addictions, commonly referred to as Behavioral Addictions, involve consistent engagement and sometimes a preoccupation with a behavior or action despite negative consequences to oneself and others.

    I provide treatment and support for concerns related to the following: Gambling, Internet/Technology/Gaming Use, Shopping, Porn Use, Work, and Sex/Love-Related Behaviors.
